This collection of tutorials is designed for trainees about to start their attachment to ICU for the first time. The modules have been developed by the education group.

If you are a Scottish trainee and would like to take the mcq test at the end, please ask the education supervisor in your ICU to get in touch with us. I will forward your supervisor a copy of the correct answers and a certificate of completion for your supervisor to sign and hand to you once they have had a look at the answers you have submitted.

How it works

1-Modules avaiable on this website.
2-Education supervisors in Scottish ICUs get in touch with the education group. They will be our contacts at the local level.
3-We send them a copy of the certificate and the correct answers to the mcqs.
4-Trainees read the module and answer mcqs at the end of each module.
5-Answers will be forwarded to education supervisors for marking.
6-A certificate of completion of the module will be issued by the education supervisor.
