The Scottish Critical Care Trials Group (SCCTG)

The Scottish Critical Care Trials Group (SCCTG) was established in 2003. The group evolved from groups of intensive care professionals interested in collaborating to carry out high quality clinical research into critical illness.

This group is currently chaired by Tim Walsh from Edinburgh. The group has its own web site.

SICS Awards

SICS Nursing and Allied Health Professional Award Competition 2011

Now open for nurses and allied health professionals who have completed research, audit or clinical improvement in intensive care in Scotland. The winning entrant will attend the SICS 2012 ASM all expenses paid courtesy of the society. See details for how to apply. Closing date 30th June 2011.

SICS Medial Award 2011

Now open for doctors who have completed research, audit or clinical improvement in intensive care in Scotland. The winning entrant will attend the SICS 2012 ASM all expenses paid courtesy of the society. See details for how to apply. Closing date 30th June 2011.

SICS Research Grant 2011

The SICS Research Grant is available for SICS members to support research in Scottish intensive care up to a value of £20,000. The closing date for receipt of applications is the 30th June 2011. Please view link for more details
