Brief history

In 1992 the recently formed Scottish Intensive Care Society set up a group to examine the potential for a National Audit of Intensive Care. Over the years this group developed into the SICSAG. Read more about the history of SICSAG.

Now 26 ICUs across Scotland participate in data collection on all patients admitted. An annual report is produced every year and an annual meeting is held. The SICSAG Meetings link above provides a link to reports on some of these annual meetings. The highlights of the other SICSAG annual meetings are presented in the SICS annual report.
