SICS Travel Grant

The aim of this grant is to support travel to study or experience critical care in an environment/location different from the individual’s normal workplace.

What is the grant?

We have a two grants on offer up to a maximum value of £2000 to cover reasonable costs. Successful applicants will need to provide evidence of the cost of their trip to enable the appropriate funds to be released. 

The successful applicant will be invited to present an account of their project at the following years’ ASM.

The grant is accessible to all SICS members.

Joining the Society at the time of application is acceptable.

Applications will be considered by the SICS Council. The decision of the Council is final. 

To apply: send a summary (maximum length – one page Word document) of your proposed project, anticipated costs and benefits accruing from the trip to the Honorary Secretary by email. Any other sources of funding or applications for funding must be declared and a letter of support from the institution to be visited is desirable. Closing date: 22/9/23, All applicants will be notified of awards by mid October.
