We are delighted to announce the date of our NHS Research Scotland Anaesthesia, Periop & Critical Care specialty group 2023 conference, which will take place at Golden Jubilee National Hospital on October 2nd 2023. This year we will be returning to the highly successful format of a joint two-day conference, partnering with the Scottish Intensive Care Society Audit Group (SICSAG), who will host the second day of the conference on October 3rd, and who will be joining us for dinner on October 2nd.
On the NHS Research Scotland day (Monday 2nd) we anticipate more of the varied multidisciplinary content we had last year in Stirling with practical talks describing all aspects of Anaesthetic, Perioperative Medicine and Critical Care research including updates from trainee research networks, work in progress and trial proposals.
On the second SICSAG day of the conference (Tuesday 3rd), we will bring together multidisciplinary colleagues from across Scotland and beyond to share ideas, knowledge and practical examples of work that has improved the quality of care for critical care patients. We also encourage applications to the SICSAG Quality Improvement Award, the winner of which will be announced at the conference.
