Management of sepsis
The management of sepsis comprises:
- Early recognition of sepsis.
- Diagnosis and identification of source and pathogen.
- Source control.
- Appropriate antibiotics.
- Fluid resuscitation.
- Physiological support: Perfusion, oxygen delivery, glucose.
